Freedom High School Theatre Sponsorship Opportunities
2020-2021 Season
Support Freedom High School’s Theatre Program Today!
With more than 150 students participating annually in Freedom High School’s award-winning theatrical productions, the Freedom Theatre Boosters would like to request your support for our 2020-2021 season.
Freedom Theatre produces a diverse selection of productions, from famous musicals such as Singin' In The Rain, Music Man, High School Musical, Into the Woods, Pippin, Fame, Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables, to classic works like Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing and Daniel Keyes’ Flowers for Algernon to the delight of audiences of all ages. For this season, Freedom Theatre will produce a one act outdoors and online, Nov. 12-14 and well as a winter production and a spring musical in 2021 (TBD).
We welcome back Freedom Theatre’s Director of Drama, Ms. Rachel Novi, for her fourth year leading our award-winning theatre program. Freedom’s students have competed in and received awards from the Virginia Theatre Association and the Virginia High School League statewide theater festivals. They have also performed in the annual Folger Shakespeare Theater Festival and have taken home numerous CAPPIE (Critics and Awards Program) nominations and awards, most recently with our production of Singin' In The Rain. Freedom Theatre’s productions enable our students to explore and learn with various styles, roles, and historical eras, developing their fine arts skills while delivering exceptional theatrical experiences.
Participating in theater productions—whether as an actor, technician, or stage manager—helps our students build confidence, learn how to work as a team, and apply these skills in the classroom and in life. Yet, with limited funding for our programs, we must rely on parents and community supporters such as you to make these programs the best they can be.
Here are some facts about how the Freedom Theatre Boosters use funds to support our students and the community:
Each Freedom Theatre show costs thousands of dollars to produce. Ticket sales cover only a portion of the production expenses. The Freedom Theatre Boosters supports the productions with financial support for such expenses as student meals during set building tech days and dress rehearsals, costumes, props, unmet production expenses and the year-end International Thespian Society (ITS) awards banquet. Each year, the Boosters are also proud to present scholarships to our outstanding senior theatre students who are planning to continue their post-secondary education.
Over 3,000 members of the South Riding and Dulles South community—students, parents, teachers and friends—attend Freedom Theatre’s productions throughout the year, offering sponsors valuable advertising and branding visibility.
Please see the attached sponsorship and advertising opportunities now available to show your leadership and support of Freedom Theatre’s productions for the 2020-2021 school year.
You can support all 2020-2021 season productions by becoming a Platinum Patron Sponsor for $500 or a Gold Patron Sponsor for $350. Your patronage includes show program ads, logo recognition online and at the productions along with the satisfaction and pride of supporting our students!
We hope we can count on your support as we look to expand our audience and raise the needed funds for the benefit of our students and the community’s fine arts experience. Please visit www.FreedomTheatreBoosters.net for more information.
Sincerely,
Krista DiVenere
